Forthspring is a community relations organisation working to bring together the polarised communities, to increase levels of tolerance, understanding and trust. Using a community development model a number of programmes are delivered. An underlying principle of the work is to model a non violent approach to diversity and conflict. This is in partnership with the Institute for the Study & Practice of Non Violence, Providence, Rhode Island whose approach is focused on the teachings of Martin Luther King.
