There are a number of ongoing women’s groups addressing issues of personal development, political education and cultural diversity. The current groups include a partnership project with the Corrymeela Community where the Catholic and Protestant communities have initially explored separately their own cultural identity which they have expressed in word and picture. This has resulted in two public exhibitions and the two groups have come together to share their experiences which will culminate in a joint exhibition.

Examples of another programmes ‘History, creating communal memories’ exploring Irish history from ancient times to current and looking at how history in Northern Ireland has been used to divide the two communities.
